Painting Class Schedule for 2013
Classes will always be on
Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-10:00 p.m.
(FULL)January 30th and 31st - Small Town
Winter
February 20th and 21st - Mountain River Scene (Full)
March 27th and 28th – Bridge of Light (Full)
Aprils class will be May 1st and 2nd
-Howling at the Moon Silhouette (Full)
May 29th and 30th – Desert Sunset (Full)
June 26th and 27th – Sunflower Gate
July 31st and June 1st-
August 28th and 29th -
Sept 25th and 26th- Ocean Sunset
October will be either the 16th and 17th or the 30th and 31st. {Halloween is the 31st}- TBA
November 20th and 21st-TBA
Dec 4th and 5th-TBA
Classes are for Beginner and Intermediate painters!
Class will be held: 98 E 900 N Spanish Fork (Basement of Dr. Call's Office)

Time: 6:30pm to 10:00pm (come at 6:15pm to set up, if possible)
Class Fee: $50 (must be received before class begins)
The classes have limited space- 8 students per class so sign up soon.

You
can mail a check to me to hold your
spot. All checks must be received by me before the first night of the
class so that I can have everything prepared. I understand that
emergency's happen. There will be no refunds of fees but if you notify
me within 48 hours of class and I will put your credit towards a
different class this year of your choice.
List of supplies needed for class:
Acrylic Painting Kit: If you do not already have a kit, you can purchase the kits from me. The kit will have all of the paints and brushes in it. It comes with one 11 x 14 board and a book of pallet paper. These supplies will last you along time and are really worth the investment!
The cost of the kit is $118.00 (If you
already have some acrylic paints and want to know if you have the right
brand and colors please call me.)
Other items to bring:
Small Metal or Wood Table Easel
~ Paper towels
~ Something to hold water in-1 gallon can or 1 gallon milk jug with top cut off
~ Apron or Old clothes
~ Some kind of tape; Artist tape, Scotch or masking tape
~ Pencil or pen
Additional info about the class:
We will be tracing and transferring our landscape from the Black and
White photo copy I provide for you onto the boards with the carbon copy.
I will paint demonstrating one step at a time then you will follow. I will come around and help you as needed.
The
first night we will complete our under painting all in Raw Umber and
then get started with color until we get half the painting done. The
second night we will work on the second half of the painting. When the
paintings are varnished they look just like an oil painting. Who knew
you could get a whole painting done in about 2 nights!
